There’s always a flood of new tunes dropping, making it tricky to pick what to jam out to first.
The Weeknd: Hurry Up Tomorrow [XO/Republic]
The Weeknd wraps up his musical journey that kicked off with 2020’s After Hours, followed by 2022’s Dawn FM, with his latest album, Hurry Up Tomorrow. Abel Tesfaye has hinted this could be the last we see of his alter ego in its current form. The album was supposed to drop on January 24 but got pushed back because of the wildfires in Los Angeles, which also led him to cancel a show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. While songs like “Timeless” and “São Paulo” made it onto the album, “Dancing in the Flames” didn’t make the cut. Collaborations include big names like Playboi Carti, Anitta, Lana Del Rey, Justice, Giorgio Moroder, Future, Florence and the Machine, and Travis Scott.
You can find it on Apple Music or Spotify; it’s also available on Tidal and Amazon Music. If you prefer physical copies or want something special from Rough Trade.
