A$AP Rocky just dropped two brand-new songs called “Trunks” and “Both Eyes Closed,” made especially for Spike Lee’s movie Highest 2 Lowest.
The film Highest 2 Lowest is out in the U.S. today, August 15, and it’s the first big movie from Spike Lee since Da 5 Bloods came out a few years back, plus Denzel Washington hasn’t led one of Lee’s films since Inside Man ages ago. In this one, A$AP Rocky jumps into the role of Yung Felon, who isn’t exactly the hero of the story.
People have been waiting a long time for A$AP Rocky’s next album, Don’t Be Dumb, but there’s still no official date for when it’s coming out. He did put out “Pray4DaGang” not too long ago, and last year everyone was listening to “Highjack” and “Ruby Rosary.” Sometimes it feels like the album might never show up, but you never know with Rocky.
Fans really hope Rocky drops the album soon.
