Alanis Morissette is re-releasing her 1998 album Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, and it’s coming out on vinyl with a fresh cover on September 6 through Rhino.
The digital deluxe version, already available, includes extra tracks like a new remix of “Uninvited” from the City of Angels soundtrack. You can listen to this special edition of Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie (Thank U Edition) below.
This album came three years after her mega-hit Jagged Little Pill. The standout track “Thank U” earned a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 2000 and reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.
I think it’s cool how old albums get new life with reissues.
Alanis will also be headlining the last night of Pitchfork Music Festival 2024 in Chicago, performing on Sunday, July 21. Tickets are available below.
