For years, AraabMuzik kept everyone waiting for Electronic Dream 2, but now he’s finally announced it’s dropping on August 1.
Some people got confused because something called Electronic Dream 2 showed up online back in 2012, but AraabMuzik said that was just a leak and not the real thing; later, he actually put those tracks on MVP of the MPC, Vol. 1 in 2018 instead. The new album’s first single, “3AM,” is out now, and you can listen to it below. Along with all this, last year he worked on a soundtrack for Aggro Dr1ft by Harmony Korine, and he also made a project with Dave East called Living Proof.
Fans sometimes get mixed up when there are leaks and unofficial things, but it makes the real release feel even more special.
The original Electronic Dream was on a list of the best albums in 2011, landing at number 40. Here’s the tracklist for the new album, which has songs like “Someone Like You,” “Lost in Time,” and “Half a World Away.” There’s even a track called “Galaxies”—that name just sounds cool.
