Bad Bunny is set to headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show in Santa Clara, California, on February 8, 2026.
The announcement dropped during the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Packers and Cowboys, catching everyone off guard with a flashy video reveal. This time, Apple Music is the big sponsor, so it’s officially called the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, and it’ll all go down at Levi’s Stadium.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” Bad Bunny shared with Billboard. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”
Jay-Z chimed in through Variety, saying, “What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring.” His company, Roc Nation, has teamed up with the NFL to organize these halftime shows since 2019.
After dropping Debí Tirar Más Fotos in January, Bad Bunny kept busy, making his third appearance as musical guest on Saturday Night Live and packing out a 30-night residency in San Juan. Now he’s about to launch a global tour for the new album, starting November and stretching all the way until July 2026. Oddly enough, he’s skipping the United States—except for this Super Bowl halftime gig.
Fans think it’s pretty wild that this will be his only U.S. show for a while.
On X, Bad Bunny posted, “[Estuve] pensando en estos días, y luego de hablarlo con mi equipo, creo que haré una sola fecha en Estados Unidos,” which means: “I’ve been thinking about it these days, and after discussing it with my team, I think I’ll do just one date in the United States.”
Last February, Kendrick Lamar rocked the Super Bowl LIX halftime in New Orleans, the first solo rapper to ever headline. He brought out Samuel L. Jackson, SZA, Serena Williams, and Mustard, and even threw some shade at Drake on live TV. Someone in that show got arrested later for waving a Sudanese-Palestinian flag—definitely not something you see every halftime.
