Beverly Glenn-Copeland Announces New Album Laughter in Summer & Releases New Songs

Beverly Glenn-Copeland is getting ready to drop a brand new album called Laughter in Summer on February 6, 2026, through Transgressive.

This time, he’s teamed up with his partner, Elizabeth Copeland, who took on the role of producer, and together they’ve put out two fresh tracks, “Children’s Anthem” and “Let Us Dance (Movement One),” for everyone to check out. When they talked about “Let Us Dance,” they said, “‘Let Us Dance’ holds deep personal meaning for us as a couple, and it’s one of our most favorite songs to perform together. It’s a gentle reminder that life invites us to embody joy through movement, no matter the circumstances, no matter how difficult the path.” That track, according to them, is “raw and honest—much the way we live our lives now.”

“Children’s Anthem” actually came to life back in 2007, written for an anti-bullying event, and now it’s been brought back with a new sound and dedicated to their granddaughter. The couple hopes the song can “serve as a rally cry to support and protect all the children of the world.” They added, “At a time when violence has become endemic, this song and its message is more critical than ever.”

Fans think it’s really touching when artists use their music to help others.

Calling the album a love letter, the couple shared that they made it during the tough period after Beverly Glenn-Copeland got diagnosed with dementia. Elizabeth said the name for the album came to her after Glenn played a melody from his Songs With No Words project, which was meant for fans to add their own lyrics to. The line “laughter in summer, how I remember” just stuck with her, and she described it as a hard moment: “It was a very painful time, because I was so aware of just how much of my sweetheart I was losing.”
