Blawan Announces New Album SickElixir & Releases New Song NOS

Blawan is finally dropping a debut album with XL, and it’s called SickElixir, landing on October 10.

After putting out EPs like BouQ, Dismantled Into Juice, and Woke Up Right Handed—not to mention the 2018 record Wet Will Always Dry—Blawan is back with something new, and the first track you can check out is “NOS.” UK labels like Hessle Audio helped Blawan build a strong following, and he’s also busy working with Pariah in Karenn, and in Persher, which has a bit of a metal twist, plus their own Voam label.

The album launch party is set for London’s Village Underground, also on October 10, but if you can’t make it there, he’ll be touring a bunch of cities, from Tilburg to Warsaw, with stops in the U.S. and all over Europe. Here’s where you might spot him live: Tilburg on September 5, Birmingham on September 13, then heading to Philly, Queens, and San Francisco, before rolling through LA, San Diego, and back to London. Manchester, Amsterdam, Turin, Barcelona, and Warsaw are on the list too.

Fans really hope he plays “NOS” at the shows.

Sometimes, when I see a tour schedule, I wonder how artists keep their socks organized—so many cities, so many suitcases!
