Caroline Polachek just dropped her latest track for the I Saw the TV Glow soundtrack. Oh, and guess what? She teamed up with A. G. Cook to produce this gem titled “Starburned and Unkissed.” You gotta hear it, seriously.
The soundtrack itself, I Saw the TV Glow (Original Soundtrack), is set to release on May 10, thanks to A24 Music. It’s not just Caroline making waves here; the album features a mix of artists like Yeule, Florist, the Weather Station, and Jay Som. Quite the lineup, huh?
And there’s more where that came from. Alex G has put his mark on the project by scoring Jane Schoenbrun’s I Saw the TV Glow. His score album is dropping on Thursday, May 16, also through A24 Music. It’s shaping up to be a pretty big deal.
The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and the SXSW Film & TV Festival. Talk about star-studded: it features performances from Snail Mail’s Lindsey Jordan, Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, and Boygenius’ Phoebe Bridgers. I Saw the TV Glow is hitting select theaters tomorrow (yep, that’s Friday, May 3) and will see a wider U.S. release on Friday, May 17.
