The 50th season of Saturday Night Live began on September 28, and NBC has revealed the upcoming hosts and musical acts.
On November 9, comedian Bill Burr will host, while Mk.gee steps onto the SNL stage for the first time. A week later, Charli XCX will take on double duty as both host and musical guest on November 16; she last graced the show in 2022.
Mk.gee’s first album, Two Star & the Dream Police, came out earlier this year. His music mixes pop, rock, and R&B from the ’80s era, catching attention from folks like Eric Clapton. Just two weeks ago, he dropped a new song called “Rockman.”
Charli XCX recently put out a remix album titled Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat, featuring big names like Lorde and Billie Eilish.
SNL’s milestone season began with Jelly Roll alongside Jean Smart. Coldplay showed up next to Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks—Billie Eilish too! This Saturday sees John Mulaney hosting again with Chappell Roan making her debut performance.
Fans love seeing new faces mixed with familiar ones—it keeps things exciting!
