Cindy Lee Removes Music from Spotify & Moves Catalog to Bandcamp

Cindy Lee just moved all their music over to Bandcamp, and now you can listen, download, or even pre-order vinyls there.

The entire collection is available, and some albums that were super tough to find, like Cat o’ Nine Tails from 2020, are finally streaming for everyone—before, there were only 50 special LPs and a few cassettes made, so hardly anyone got to hear it. If you want to actually own a physical copy, you’ll have to wait until October 31, when the Superior Viaduct label W.25TH is reissuing them all on vinyl. Some people might be surprised that Diamond Jubilee is now easier to get, since it used to only be on Cindy Lee’s old Geocities site, and now it’s got a real vinyl release since February.

A press release said Cindy Lee pulled all their records off Spotify, and before they disappeared, only Model Express and What’s Tonight to Eternity were left up there; the rest were already gone, and now everything’s off.

We think it’s cool when old albums come back after being gone for a long time.

Albums like Act of Tenderness and Malenkost were also missing from Bandcamp for a while, but they just came back today, so fans who missed out before have another shot. It’s kind of wild how music can just vanish and then reappear, like a ghost at a Halloween party.

Sometimes, people forget how tricky it is to track down rare records, but now, most of Cindy Lee’s stuff is back in print and way easier to find—at least for now.
