Cocteau Twins Reissue Harold Budd Collaboration The Moon & the Melodies

Cocteau Twins are bringing back The Moon and the Melodies on vinyl, teaming up with Harold Budd once again.

Starting August 23, you can grab this remastered album thanks to Robin Guthrie working his magic on the original tapes. This is a big deal because it’s the first time since 1986 that you can get it on vinyl.

They’ve also kicked off a new YouTube channel. Now, all their official music videos are there in high quality, including hits like “Pearly Dewdrops’ Drops,” “Heaven or Las Vegas,” and “Evangeline.” These videos got a fancy upgrade from original masters stored by 4AD and Universal Music. Oh, and don’t forget to check out their fresh merch store too!

I love how they keep surprising us with these re-releases.

This year has been busy for Cocteau Twins as they also reissued their last two albums: Four-Calendar Café from ‘94 and Milk & Kisses from ‘96. They’ve done similar things before with older albums like Treasure, Head Over Heels, Garlands, and Victoria.
