Dinosaur Jr. Reissues Farm for 15th Anniversary

Dinosaur Jr. is re-releasing their 2009 album Farm with some cool extras.

This new vinyl version of Farm has four bonus tracks that were only on a special CD before. One of these songs is a cover of the Zombies’ “Whenever You’re Ready,” and you can listen to it online now. The Farm (15th Anniversary Edition) will be available on August 16 through Jagjaguwar.

The original Farm, which came out after their 2007 reunion album Beyond, was made by J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph—the band’s first lineup. Mascis produced it at his Bisquiteen Studio in Amherst, Massachusetts.

I think it’s really cool when bands bring back old albums with new stuff.

Dinosaur Jr.’s latest reunion album, Sweep It Into Space, dropped in 2021.

The tracks for the new edition:

  • Pieces
  • I Want You to Know
  • Ocean in the Way
  • Plans
  • Your Weather
  • Over It
  • Friends
  • Said the People
  • No Here’s No Here
  • See You
  • I Don’t Wanna Go There
  • Imagination Blind
  • Bonus Tracks:

    Houses
    Whenever You’re Ready
    Creepies
    Show
