Drugdealer & Weyes Blood Release New Song & Video Real Thing

There’s a brand new song out called “Real Thing” from Drugdealer and Weyes Blood.

This time, Michael Collins worked together with Max Baby to produce the track, and Natalie Mering from Weyes Blood helped write it, too—she actually came up with the lyrics and harmonies, which Collins said were “such amazing lyrics and harmonies as usual.” The music video for “Real Thing” was created by Collins and James Manson, which is a cool team-up.

Before this, they’ve already teamed up on other songs like “Suddenly,” “The End of Comedy,” and “Honey.” It’s wild how many times they’ve worked together, right? Fans think they always sound great together.

Just last year, Drugdealer dropped Hiding in Plain Sight, and Weyes Blood put out And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow, so both have been pretty busy with their own albums. Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the new music, but that’s part of the fun.
