Fievel Is Glauque Announce Album Rong Weicknes, Share New Song

Fievel Is Glauque is set to release a new album soon.

The album, titled Rong Weicknes, will be available on October 25 through Fat Possum. It follows their 2022 jazz record, Flaming Swords. The leading single, “As Above So Below,” is out now for you to enjoy. Zach Phillips from the duo mentioned in a press release that this song might be their most standard one yet, with lyrics that both mock and embrace typical pop themes. Joey Agresta directed the song’s video, inspired by cues like “The Sound of Music” and ’90s positivity vibes.

The new album features musicians from the U.S., Belgium, and Canada: Thom Gill on guitar, Logan Kane on bass, Daniel Rossi on percussion, André Sacalxot playing woodwind instruments, Gaspard Sicx on drums, and Chris Weisman handling guitar and electric sitar. They all gathered last year at Outlier Inn in upstate New York to record it.

Fans love when artists bring together such diverse talents.
