Floating Points Announces New Album Cascade, Shares New Song Key103

Floating Points is back with his first solo album in four years, titled Cascade, set to release on September 13 through Ninja Tune.

You can check out a fresh track called “Key103” from the upcoming album below. This new project will feature singles like “Birth4000” and “Del Oro,” along with a special "Club Mix" of the song “Vocoder.” His last solo effort was Crush in 2019, followed by a remarkable collaboration in 2021 with the London Symphony Orchestra and Pharoah Sanders on Promises. In 2022, he also composed a ballet score named Mere Mortals for the San Francisco Ballet.

Sometimes, I think music can truly touch our souls.

Here’s what you can expect from Cascade:

  • Vocoder (Club Mix)
  • Key103
  • Birth4000
  • Del Oro
  • Fast Forward
  • Ocotillo
  • Afflecks Palace
  • Tilt Shift
  • Ablaze

I can’t wait to see how this album turns out!
