Flying Lotus just dropped a new EP out of the blue called Spirit Box.
This EP includes the songs “Ingo Swann” and “Garmonbozia,” which gives a nod to Twin Peaks. It also features Dawn Richard on “Let Me Cook” and Sid Sriram on “The Lost Girls.” You can check out the EP below.
Though Flying Lotus hasn’t released a solo album since 2019’s Flamagra, he’s been far from idle. He’s been involved in projects like executive-producing and creating music for LeSean Thomas’ anime Yasuke. He also put out singles such as “The Room” and “You Don’t Know,” and even made ringtones for Apple. Recently, he unveiled a teaser trailer for his sci-fi horror film, Ash, which he directed and scored.
