Grimes has given a fresh twist to the song “Image” from Magdalena Bay’s album Imaginal Disk.
The Los Angeles pair, Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, are set to perform this track on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for their first late-night TV appearance tomorrow (October 30). You can check out “Image (Grimes Special)” below.
Their second album, Imaginal Disk, was released in August and includes tracks like “Death & Romance,” “Tunnel Vision,” and “That’s My Floor.” They’ve just finished touring the U.S. and are gearing up for their European tour next month.
This year, Grimes hasn’t dropped any solo projects but talked about AI in music on PBS’s show A Brief History of the Future.
