Hildur Guðnadóttir has given us a sneak peek of her music for Joker: Folie à Deux, the new movie by Todd Phillips featuring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
The track “There Is No Joker” is available to listen to below.
Previously, Hildur created the score for the first Joker film, which brought her numerous awards, such as the 2020 Academy Award for Best Original Score and a Grammy in 2021 for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.
The new score album by Hildur, titled Joker: Folie à Deux (Score From the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), will be out on September 27 through WaterTower Music.
The movie itself, Joker: Folie à Deux, hits theaters on October 4. On that same day, Interscope will release another soundtrack album called Joker: Folie à Deux (Music From the Motion Picture), featuring tracks by Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, and other cast members.
I think fans are really excited about this release.
