Irv Gotti Sued for Sexual Assault & Battery

Irv Gotti, co-founder of Murder Inc. Records, is facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit.

The Miami New Times reported that Jane Doe filed a complaint on July 11 in Miami-Dade County, Florida. She wants a jury trial and compensation for her mental suffering.

Jane Doe claims she met Irv Gotti in the summer of 2020. After they met, he invited her to Saint Martin for a vacation. During this trip, she says he forced her into having sex with him. They then had a two-year relationship where she alleges he made her do things she didn’t want to and often yelled at her.

Because of this alleged mistreatment, Jane Doe says she’s been deeply hurt emotionally and mentally. She even ended up in a psychiatric ward and now feels too scared to leave her house because of what happened and how Gotti has talked about her to people around Los Angeles.

I sometimes wonder why people don’t speak up sooner about such things; it must be so hard for them.

Irv Gotti started Murder Inc. Records with his brother Christopher Lorenzo in the late ’90s. The label worked with artists like Ja Rule, Ashanti, and Lloyd. He also runs Visionary Ideas now.
