Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars Release New Song Die With a Smile Video

Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have teamed up for a new song called “Die With a Smile.”

The music video, directed by Daniel Ramos and Mars, has a cool vintage vibe with the duo dressed in country outfits performing in what looks like a mix of an old recording studio and TV set. Check out the video below.

Gaga mentioned that her own album is almost done. Reflecting on working with Bruno Mars, she said:

Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating. I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on. It was around midnight when I got there and I was blown away when I heard what he had started making. We stayed up all night and finished writing and recording the song. Bruno’s talent is beyond explanation. His musicianship and vision is next level. There’s no one like him.

Mars shared his excitement too: “Getting to work with Gaga has been an honor. She’s an icon and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it.”

Yesterday (August 15), Gaga gave fans a sneak peek of the track on social media, posting a picture of herself with Mars dressed in blue and red outfits saying, “WHILE YOU WAIT TILL LG7…”. They premiered the song at Intuit Dome’s opening event in Inglewood.

Fans can’t wait for what’s coming next from these two!

Lady Gaga’s previous single was “Hold My Hand,” which featured as the theme song for Top Gun: Maverick. Since then, she’s performed at major events like the 2023 Academy Awards, the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, and restarted her popular Las Vegas Residency shows.

This October 4th, we’ll see Gaga as Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux, starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix who returns as Joker.
