Lady Gaga Performs Zombieboy & Abracadabra at Netflix Tudum 2025

Lady Gaga’s appearance in the second season of Wednesday is now official after she showed up at Netflix’s Tudum 2025 event last night.

The news first bubbled up in November when Variety hinted at her cameo, but now it’s confirmed: Gaga steps into the shoes of Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary teacher at Nevermore who meets Wednesday, though she won’t pop up until the season’s back half on September 3. The first part of season 2 will drop earlier, on August 6, so fans have a staggered binge ahead. If you want a sneak peek, there’s a longer clip from the premiere out, starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday herself and Haley Joe Osment playing a creepy serial killer called the Kansas City Scalper.

After the first season dropped in 2022, Gaga’s “Bloody Mary” (the sped-up remix) went everywhere on TikTok, with people copying Ortega’s famous dance. Funny thing is, the dance scene in the show actually used “Goo Goo Muck” by the Cramps, not Gaga’s song. At Tudum, Gaga closed the night performing “Abracadabra” and “Zombieboy” from her new album Mayhem, and she even mixed in bits of the Addams Family theme song. You can watch the performance below.

Last month, Lady Gaga had a wild milestone—she played a free show in Rio de Janeiro, and 2.5 million people showed up, making it the biggest crowd ever for a female artist. But the night was a bit scary, since there was a bomb threat and police arrested two guys in Brazil. Gaga’s been busy since her album Mayhem came out in March; she hosted and sang on Saturday Night Live, and she headlined Coachella 2025. Her North American tour starts July 16 in Las Vegas.

Fans really can’t wait to see what Gaga does in Wednesday.
