Leikeli47 just announced her next album, titled Lei Keli ft. 47 / For Promotional Use Only, and it’s dropping on June 13.
The tracklist has 11 songs, and one of them is “Soft Serve,” which now has a video directed by Dana Rice—and you can check it out below if you want. Along with “450,” which came out earlier, these songs are part of her first big project since Shape Up finished her beauty trilogy back in 2022. Working closely with Harold Lilly as executive producer, she brought back the same creative crew that shaped her last albums.
Leikeli47 shared, “The complexion of this album is coming of age. It’s about innovating my spaces and how I only sell out to the moment. My soul, my gift, and my service is never for sale. This new LP is personal and playful. Harmonic and melodic. Raw and heartfelt. Edgy and elevated. It’s a dedication to the visionaries who reside in their own world. The mask is off and the perspective is aerial.”
Fans think it’s pretty wild how she’s finally showing her face after all those years of hiding behind masks in every video and stage show—she first did it in the “450” video, and now she says she’s ready for everyone to see her, no more hiding.
We really like when artists try new things, even if it feels a little risky.
So, with this album, Leikeli47 wants to start over, stay real, and let everyone see who she really is, both in her music and in real life. Sometimes, change is just what you need.
