Lucy Dacus just dropped a pair of fresh tracks called “Bus Back to Richmond” and “More Than Friends.”
These songs come not long after her album Forever Is a Feeling landed earlier this year, and now both tunes are getting their own special 7″ vinyl release. If you want to hear them, you can scroll down and listen right now. Dacus is also switching up the album cover on streaming platforms—she wanted the art to show what she really imagined, so now Jon Henry’s photo of Will St. John’s painting tucked away in storage will be the new look.
Back in March, Dacus gave us Forever Is a Feeling and kicked things off with the singles “Ankles,” “Best Guess,” and “Talk.” Right now, she’s traveling for her tour, and at some shows, she’s even marrying fans right there on stage, which is pretty wild.
Fans think it’s cool when artists do unexpected stuff at concerts.
Sometimes, it feels like every time you check your phone, there’s another surprise from Dacus—new music, new art, or even a wedding in the middle of a show. The world is weird, but at least music keeps it interesting.
