Madonna just dropped the news that her remix album Veronica Electronica is coming out this summer, full of rare tracks from Ray of Light.
This new set, arriving July 25 through Warner, has eight remixes that haven’t been heard before, with names like Sasha, William Orbit, and Peter Rauhofer all taking turns reimagining her songs. To kick things off, she’s letting everyone hear “Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit),” which is one of the deeper cuts from the collection.
After Madame X landed in 2019, Madonna kept busy by putting out Finally Enough Love, a big remix project that showed off dance versions of her hits from over the years. There was talk about a movie based on her life, but Universal ended up not making it in 2023. Now, though, it’s coming back as a Netflix series, and Shawn Levy from Stranger Things will be in charge.
Fans honestly think it’s cool to see old songs get a fresh twist.
If you want to check out the full tracklist, here’s what’s coming on Veronica Electronica:
01 Drowned World / Substitute for Love (BT & Sasha’s Bucklodge Ashram New Edit)
02 Ray of Light (Sasha Twilo Mix Edit)
03 Skin (The Collaboration Remix Edit)
04 Nothing Really Matters (Club 69 Speed Mix Meets the Dub)
05 Sky Fits Heaven (Victor Calderone Future New Edit)
06 Frozen (Widescreen Mix and Drums)
07 The Power of Good-Bye (Fabien’s Good God Mix Edit)
08 Gone Gone Gone (Original Demo Version)
Sometimes, we just want to dance to something totally unexpected.
