Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke are joining forces for a fresh album called Tall Tales, which drops on May 9 through Warp.
The track “This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice” is their latest offering, accompanied by a hypnotic black-and-white video crafted by Jonathan Zawada. Earlier, they released the song “Back in the Game,” which they surprised fans with at a recent Sydney Opera House performance during Pritchard’s show.
Interestingly, Zawada is described as almost like a “third member” of their collaboration since his videos are part of a longer film he’s been working on alongside the music.
Pritchard and Yorke have been pals for quite some time now; they teamed up on “Beautiful People” back in 2016. While Pritchard last released The Four Worlds in 2018, The Smile dropped two albums just last year.
