Megan Thee Stallion Drops New Song Lover Girl

Megan Thee Stallion is back with another solo single, “Lover Girl,” just a few months after “Whenever” came out in April.

If you listen closely, you’ll hear that “Lover Girl” borrows its vibe from Total’s 1996 song “Kissin’ You” and this one was cooked up with Jacobdior in the producer’s seat. On a totally different note, imagine how weird it would be if cats could rap? Anyway, her last album, Megan, dropped in 2024, and then she added more music to it with a deluxe called Act II not too long after.

Earlier this year, Megan got a restraining order against Tory Lanez, who is in prison these days, and sadly, he even got stabbed in May. After that happened, Megan posted a statement, talking about people continuing to harass her online, which must be so stressful for her.

Fans think it’s important for people to stop hating online and just let others live their lives.

Oh, and don’t forget, her hit with Cardi B, “WAP,” was chosen number 22 on the list of “The 100 Best Songs of the 2020s So Far.”
