Moses Sumney & Hayley Williams Release New Song I Like It I Like It

Moses Sumney and Hayley Williams just dropped a fresh track together called “I Like It I Like It”.

Sumney worked on this song with Quickly, Quickly and Rob Bisel, and it’s out now on his Tuntum label, so you can go listen to it if you want. He shared, “Hayley Williams and Paramore underscored a large part of my anxious youth, so when I was writing this song about having an angsty crush on someone, I knew there would be no better person to sing it with than the queen of yearning,” and he also added, “I’m glad we get to get soulful together.” It’s kind of cool how he picked Hayley because of how much her music meant to him when he was younger.

Before this, Sumney put out a song in February with Syd and Meshell Ndegeocello called “Hey Girl(s)”. Meanwhile, Hayley’s been busy too, jumping on the new Turnstile song “Seein’ Stars”.

Fans think it’s awesome when artists they love team up for something new.

Sometimes, I wonder if these collabs happen because they’re friends or just because the music vibes match so well.
