Nation of Language Announce New Album & Release New Song Video

Nation of Language is about to set off on a wild ride, hitting cities from Seattle to Lisbon all in one tour.

First, they’re teaming up with Death Cab for Cutie for some big nights at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, and then they’ll double up in Chicago at the Chicago Theater before heading east for a string of shows with Safe Mind, including stops in Hamden, Woodstock, and Portland. After that, Brooklyn gets three nights in a row at Warsaw, which sounds like a party, and then it’s a zigzag across the Midwest—Boston, Detroit, Chicago again (this time at Thalia Hall), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Omaha, Kansas City, and more, all with Greet Death joining them on stage.

Fans really hope they play their new song at least once.

When October rolls around, the band bounces to the West Coast, bringing Westerman along for gigs in Vancouver, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, even doing back-to-back nights at The Fonda Theater. Deeper joins the tour for a southern swing—San Diego, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Carrboro, Richmond, Philly, and Washington, D.C.—so if you’re anywhere near those cities, you might want to grab tickets fast.

As the leaves start to fall, they hop over to Europe, with Telekura joining for two nights in Dublin, and then Westerman returns for a run through Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich. The last stretch takes them to Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, and finally Lisbon, where the adventure wraps up—unless they decide to add a surprise encore somewhere.

Sometimes, when you read a long list of cities like this, it makes you want to just pack a bag and follow the tour, right?

Tour partners: Death Cab for Cutie (&), Safe Mind (%), Greet Death (^), Westerman (*), Deeper (+), and Telekura ($).
