National, Remi Wolf Perform at Kamala Harris Rally

In Wisconsin, a rally for Kamala Harris featured performances by The National, Remi Wolf, Gracie Abrams, and Mumford & Sons.

The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner played some songs like “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” “I Need My Girl,” which they said was written for their daughters but dedicated to Harris that night, and the well-known “Fake Empire.” At the end of their set, Berninger urged everyone to vote and tell friends to do the same. You can catch this from 37:50 in the video below. Remi Wolf kicked things off with “Cinderella” and shared her thoughts about Harris understanding important rights like making decisions about our bodies. She also mentioned climate change and how both she and Harris love having fun as Bay Area girls. Her performance starts at 11:45.

Gracie Abrams paused her tour with Taylor Swift to be there. She sang with her band and spoke directly to young voters about feeling lost in a world full of challenges like social media pressures, COVID-19, and fake news. But she reminded them that voting is crucial to keeping democracy alive. Watch her part at 1:17:20.

Mumford & Sons wrapped up with hits such as “Little Lion Man,” “Awake My Soul,” and “I Will Wait,” starting at 1:41:10.

Fans sometimes feel overwhelmed by all that’s going on around us.

Don’t forget—election day is November 5th, 2024! Plan your vote.
