In Wisconsin, a rally for Kamala Harris featured performances by The National, Remi Wolf, Gracie Abrams, and Mumford & Sons.
The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner played some songs like “Bloodbuzz Ohio,” “I Need My Girl,” which they said was written for their daughters but dedicated to Harris that night, and the well-known “Fake Empire.” At the end of their set, Berninger urged everyone to vote and tell friends to do the same. Remi Wolf kicked things off with “Cinderella” and shared her thoughts about Harris understanding important rights like making decisions about our bodies. She sang with her band and spoke directly to young voters about feeling lost in a world full of challenges like social media pressures, COVID-19, and fake news.
