Quavo & Lana Del Rey Release New Song Tough Video

After much anticipation, Quavo and Lana Del Rey have unveiled their new track “Tough.”

The music video, directed by the duo along with Wyatt Spain Winfrey, showcases Quavo and Lana slow dancing, strumming guitars on a porch, and enjoying a beautiful countryside. Watch the scenic “Tough” video below.

Produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut, “Tough” brings back memories of Del Rey’s early hip-hop vibes from Born to Die. This marks her first rapper collaboration since Lust for Life, which featured tracks with The Weeknd (“Lust for Life”), A$AP Rocky (“Groupie Love”), and Playboi Carti (“Summer Bummer”). Although her 2023 song “Peppers” includes Tommy Genesis, it’s just a sample from his song “Angelina.”

Last year, Del Rey released Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. She hinted that she might drop a new country album called Lasso in September.

I think it’s so cool how artists keep surprising us with new styles.

Since his second solo album Rocket Power came out in August 2023, Quavo has been busy releasing singles like “Mink,” “Clear the Smoke,” and “Himothy.”
