Sabrina Carpenter just dropped a brand new track to kick off 2025.
This time, she teamed up with Amy Allen and Jack Antonoff to write “Manchild”, and Antonoff also produced the song, which is packed with clever lines like, “Did you just say you’re finished? Didn’t know we started/It’s all so familiar, baby, what do you call it/Stupid, or is it slow?” The music video is wild—Sabrina wanders through a bizarre desert scene, and it’s directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia.
Earlier this year, Sabrina put out a deluxe edition of Short n’ Sweet in February, right around the time she won two Grammys: one for Best Pop Vocal Album (Short n’ Sweet) and another for Best Pop Solo Performance with “Espresso.” She even performed at the ceremony, mixing “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” for the crowd.
Fans think Sabrina’s music just keeps getting better and better.
If you’re hoping to see her live, she’ll be at Primavera Sound Barcelona on June 6, then she’s headlining Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza before hitting the road again in North America with Ravyn Lenae, Amber Mark, and Olivia Dean joining her.
Weirdly, the number 35 keeps popping up—her album Short n’ Sweet landed at that spot on the “The 50 Best Albums of 2024” list, which is kind of funny if you think about it.
