Sabrina Carpenter is about to take on movies, both acting in and producing a brand-new musical inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Universal Pictures is running with this new project, led by Lorene Scafaria—she’s writing and directing, and people know her from Succession and films like Hustlers and Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. The movie’s title is still a total mystery, and there’s no word yet on when it’s coming out, but it’s got a solid team behind it, including Marc Platt and his crew, plus Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton from Alloy Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Sabrina isn’t slowing down at all in music. Her album Man’s Best Friend (dropped last September) just landed her a whopping six Grammy nominations!
