It’s been a decade since Product first dropped, and now there’s a brand new deluxe version coming out.
On July 11, fans can grab the updated Product on vinyl or CD, and if you’re into streaming, you can listen starting June 18 thanks to Numbers. This time, there are two songs nobody’s heard before—“Ooh” and “Get Higher”—both made while SOPHIE was working on the original project. The full song list for the deluxe edition is down below, and it’s got a couple surprises.
The special vinyl has something cool: posters for each single, so you can see the art up close. “Ooh” used to be called “Make Respect” and was first played live at Sónar Festival in 2011, but it wasn’t finished until 2019, and it’s got vocals from Jaide Green, who you might remember from X Factor. “Get Higher” is sung by Cassie Davis and Sean Mullins, and before this, it was only on the Japanese CD version of Product.
Fans always get excited when lost tracks finally come out.
Last year, SOPHIE’s self-titled album showed up, and it had a bunch of collabs, like with Cecile Believe, Doss, Kim Petras, BC Kingdom, and Juliana Huxtable, plus others. But back in June 2018, Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides was the first album everyone heard from SOPHIE.
