SXSW 2025 is gearing up with a lineup of artists from all over the world, including Yasmin Williams, Twin Shadow, and Justin Morales.
In 2024, SXSW faced a storm when several musicians decided not to perform because of its connections with the U.S. Army and RTX Corporation due to their involvement in Gaza’s bombing. This led Squirrel Flower, Mamalarky, Shalom, and Kneecap to lead a boycott that pushed the festival to end these partnerships.

The upcoming festival will be happening in Austin from March 10 through March 15. Also making waves is Immersion—a fresh duo born from Colin Newman of Wire and Malka Spigel of Minimal Compact—set for their first show ever.
