Tame Impala Launches APC Capsule Collection

Tame Impala has teamed up with A.P.C. for a clothing line.

Kevin Parker, inspired by “psychedelic minimalism,” worked with Jean Touitou of the Parisian brand to create this collection. Touitou, who became a fan thanks to his daughter, said the music reminded him of everything he loved since the ’60s, like Soft Machine and Pink Floyd. He admired their unique sound and relaxed style.

The new collection features sustainably made pastel tops, alpaca sweaters, striped corduroy pants, bucket hats, and sunglasses. There are also cozy sweats that feel like you’re wrapped in a cloud. The capsule will be available on July 18; you can check out more details on the A.P.C. website.

A.P.C. has worked with Kanye West and Kid Cudi before this collaboration. Tame Impala’s latest album is The Slow Rush, which came out in February 2020.

I think it’s cool how fashion and music can come together like this.
