The 1975 Remove Song From Streaming at Matthew Healy’s Request

Out of nowhere, “Human Too” disappeared from streaming, leaving everyone super confused.

You open up your favorite music app, search for “Human Too” from Being Funny in a Foreign Language, and—poof—nothing! In a surprise twist, Matthew Healy posted on Reddit and was pretty clear about it: “Human Too was removed from the album so the album is more how I want it to be,” he shared. That’s just the way it goes, sometimes.

People are always adjusting things now, changing tracks even after an album drops, but taking away a song this long after, well, that hardly ever happens. Healy said that the rest of the album is how he likes it except for “What Should I Say” from Notes on a Conditional Form, and he joked, “So that may also be removed who knows.” Changes might not be over!

Fans never really know what’s going to happen next with albums because artists keep reworking stuff even after it’s out.

If you’ve got the CD or record lying around, don’t worry—Healy reminded everyone that “Human Too” is still there on the old-school versions.

It’s kind of like your favorite game suddenly losing a level years after you finished it—bit strange and kinda mysterious, right?
