TV on the Radio Teases New Project

TV on the Radio might be making a comeback.

The band, which hasn’t been very active lately, shared a teaser image on social media and refreshed their website. Not much else is known right now, so keep an eye out for updates.

Their last album, Seeds, came out in November 2014. They played Madison Square Garden in March 2019, and they haven’t done a proper tour since spring and summer of 2018 when they celebrated the 10th anniversary of Dear Science with a show in Brooklyn.

Tunde Adebimpe has stayed busy despite the band’s silence. He was in the summer hit movie Twisters, and he’s acted or voiced roles in Marriage Story, HBO’s Perry Mason, and the animated series Tuca & Bertie.

Kyp Malone has also been acting. In 2021, he starred with Josh Peck in Doors. Plus, he’s made several albums with John Dwyer like Bent Arcana and Ritual / Habit / Ceremony.

The band’s David Andrew Sitek continues to be a sought-after producer. He’s worked with Chelsea Wolfe, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Run the Jewels, among others. In 2020, he started a new band called Neverly Boys.
