The very next week, on May 18, Jake Gyllenhaal steps in as host with Sabrina Carpenter bringing her tunes as the musical guest. Carpenter’s set to dazzle us with her debut, likely belting out her latest pop sensation, “Espresso.”

Now, let’s rewind a bit. Last month, Vampire Weekend dropped their fifth album, Only God Was Above Us. It’s kinda a big deal, considering their journey started on SNL back in 2008. Remember “A-Punk” and “M79”? Those tracks from their self-titled debut had us all hooked. Fast forward to 2010, they’re back, this time with “Cousins” and “Giving Up the Gun” from Contra. And let’s not forget their 2013 gig, where “Diane Young” and “Unbelievers” from Modern Vampires of the City stole the show.
