Verraco just shared that his first EP with XL is coming soon, called Basic Maneuvers.
This new project, which drops on May 29 as part of the label’s special house bag series, comes after last year’s Breathe… Godspeed EP, and the main song, also named “Basic Maneuvers,” is already out for everyone to listen to. You can also spot the cover art and see the full tracklist, which shows three tracks: “Basic Maneuvers,” “Total,” and the last one, “Sobe Sobe,” featuring MC Yallah, who’s connected with Nyege Nyege. In the middle sits “Total,” holding the set together.
Verraco, who helps run TraTraTrax, is busy traveling all over Europe right now, and he’s got big festival gigs lined up, like Glastonbury and Waterworks in London.
Fans wonder what kind of wild sounds he’ll bring to those shows.
By the way, someone mentioned Verraco’s track “Escándaloo” when talking about the best electronic music last year, which is pretty cool.
