Victoria Monét Releases New Alright Video

Victoria Monét has unveiled a brand-new music video for her song “Alright,” which was produced by Kaytranada.

She collaborated with director Dave Meyers and choreographer Sean Bankhead, who also worked on the choreography for “On My Mama.” Check out the new video below.

In a statement, Monét expressed:

“‘Alright’ is all about breaking free and feeling liberated! This video shows that idea through dance and blending both masculine and feminine vibes. Working with Dave Meyers, Sean Bankhead, and this incredible cast was such an honor! What an amazing team!! Every single person involved put in so much passion from start to finish. We all gave our best effort to make this happen, going beyond what we even dreamed of. True teamwork! We carefully crafted every part of it and are super excited to share it with everyone! There’s no better time than Pride Month, Black Music Month, and the beginning of summer ’24 to release it. I can’t wait to see how dancers and ballroom culture will embrace it.”

This “Alright” video is Victoria Monét’s first release since winning three Grammy Awards in 2024: Best New Artist, Best R&B Album, and Best Engineered Album.
