Water From Your Eyes Release Playing Classics Video

Water From Your Eyes just dropped a brand new single called “Playing Classics,” and it’s got a wild video where a teddy bear ends up everywhere.

First, you see the bear as a kid’s cuddle buddy, but then it gets snatched by a dog, rides a skateboard, and even jams with the band during practice—James Dayton directed the whole thing, which is pretty cool. Their album It’s a Beautiful Place is coming out on August 22, and last month they already teased us with “Life Signs.”

People sometimes wonder how bands keep coming up with such weird ideas.

After last year’s Everyone’s Crushed and a 2024 covers EP, the group even did a remix of “Sport of Form” by the Armed for the Everlasting Gaze EP. Nate Amos and Rachel Brown don’t just stick to the band either—Amos dropped a solo record called Box for Buddy, Box for Star using the name This Is Lorelei, and Brown released two EPs as Thanks for Coming: one in 2025 called The IRS No Longer Has My Address, and Neither Do I (that title is kind of hilarious, honestly), and another in 2023 named What Is My Capacity to Love?
