Former President Trump is being sued by The White Stripes for using their song “Seven Nation Army” without permission in a campaign video.
The lawsuit, with Meg and Jack White as co-plaintiffs, claims Trump’s team ignored attempts to resolve the issue peacefully and instead violated their rights. The band also expressed strong opposition to Trump’s past actions and future plans.
Filed today in New York federal court, this lawsuit fulfills Jack White’s promise to take legal action. On Instagram, he posted, “This machine sues fascists.”
