Yaeji just dropped a new track called “Booboo2,” and this time she teamed up with Underscores and Aliyah’s Interlude.
If you remember “Booboo” from earlier this year, this fresh version flips things around and adds a whole new vibe—plus, it’s her first release since “Pondeggi” came out in March. The song even starts with, “A year ago today, I wrote a banger that goes like: ‘Booboo, don’t touch me,’” which kind of makes you want to dance and laugh at the same time. There’s a lyric video too, and it’s got cool animation by Caroline Waxse. Somewhere down the line, you’ll spot the single’s artwork if you keep scrolling (or if you’re just curious).
After With a Hammer, Yaeji kept busy with all sorts of singles and collabs—like “Easy Breezy,” and she’s worked with Bambii, Girl Talk, and even Teddy Geiger on a song called “Pink Ponies” for the Transa album. She didn’t stop there; she also put her own twist on Ateez’s “In Your Fantasy” with a remix that dropped in July.
Fans think it’s cool when artists mix things up and surprise us with new sounds.
Sometimes, I wonder if Yaeji ever gets tired, because she just keeps making more and more music.
