Yeat just put out a brand-new EP called Dangerous Summer with a bunch of tracks, including a fresh one with FKA twigs, “Fly Nitë.”
The song “Fly Nitë” was created together with Dolphin Talk, Elkan, Lucid, and DwavyB, and you can check it out below if you want to hear what they made. This EP is Yeat’s first since Lyfestyle came out last year, and he’s been dropping hints about his next album, which might be called A Dangerous Lyfe; there’s even a track on the new EP called “[ADL Is Coming],” so it feels like he’s definitely planning more music soon.
FKA twigs always seems to work with interesting people, and on her upcoming album Eusexua, she’s got a song with North West, who is Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter. She’s also done collabs with Future, Yung Lean, Central Cee, Two Shell, A$AP Rocky, and a bunch of others before.
Fans think it’s cool when artists mix things up and surprise us with new team-ups.
Harmony Korine took the photo for the Dangerous Summer cover, which is kind of awesome because his style is always a little odd and mysterious.
Sometimes when I listen to new music, I wonder what kind of snacks the artists eat in the studio—like, are they munching on chips or just drinking water?
