Zulu, the hardcore band from LA, has decided to take a break.
Simpson recently shared her story online, saying Muhammad was abusive in many ways. She described their time together as “a violent one.”
Muhammad responded by saying these accusations are “false and deeply troubling.” He insisted he never hurt Simpson physically or used manipulation against her.
The rest of Zulu said they support those who’ve suffered abuse and stand against any harm done to vulnerable people. They expressed empathy for anyone who’s been hurt or had their freedom taken away.
The band members have cut ties with Muhammad, stating they won’t work or perform with him anymore. They also mentioned they were unaware of the allegations until they came out publicly.
On Instagram, Simpson called Zulu’s statement “a lie,” challenging their claim of ignorance about what happened.
